King's Cove

prussia cove cornish beach holiday

King’s Cove is one of a trio of coves that make up Prussia Cove, situated on the south coast of Cornwall between Praa Sands and Perranuthnoe. Just to the east of The Enys, the large rock, is a tiny cove with a small patch of sand hidden from view. On very large SW swells, a small but sheltered right hand reef can be surfed along the rocky platform known as ‘Table Reef’. John Carter, also known as “The King of Prussia” landed much of his contraband on this beach and became very wealthy through his smuggling business.
